Working Principle

The AUTOOL TR401 Digital Anemometer is based on the vane sensor principle. The vane sensor consists of a small, freely rotating vane. When wind passes through, the vane starts to rotate. The rotational speed of the vane is directly proportional to the wind speed — the faster the rotation, the higher the wind speed. The sensor converts the vane’s rotational signal into an electrical signal, and the processor inside the device calculates and processes the signal, converting it into a digital wind speed value, which is then displayed on the screen. Through this process, the AUTOOL TR401 can measure air flow speed in real-time and with high accuracy.
